The holidays are right around the corner, and things are buzzing at Haskill Creek. We’re decking the shelves, unpacking new arrivals, and getting ready for one of our favorite times of the year. If you’re hosting your own Thanksgiving, or looking for a hostess gift to bring, we’ve got fun new table linens from Goldie Home & Atelier Saucier, and fun hostess gifts from Flamingo Estate. Great for using yourself OR gifting. Speaking of gifts… our annual gift guide is well underway–keep an eye on your mailbox, and your inbox! This year’s edition is packed with ideas for everyone on your list: the party host, the sober curious, the fitness enthusiast, the beauty lover, the guy in your life, and plenty more.
We’re also gearing up for our Holiday Shopping Event on Thursday, November 21, from 5–9 PM, and it’s always one of the best nights of the season. Expect raffles, chair massages, special discounts throughout the store, free gift wrapping, food and drinks, and lots of festive cheer. It’s the perfect opportunity to check off your gift list before Thanksgiving so you can actually relax and enjoy the holidays once they arrive.
This month, we’re continuing our Season of Giving by supporting the North Valley Food Bank. Throughout November, we’ll be donating $1 from every sale to help this incredible local organization feed families in our community. Giving back to the place we call home is something that’s very important to us here at Haskill Creek, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helps make that possible just by shopping with us.
With shorter days and cooler weather, it’s also the time of year when we’re all thinking about how to keep our immune systems strong. We’re excited to welcome Mackenzie Vetter from Compass Chiropractic into the store next Thursday at 12:30 PM for a special wellness event focused on immunity. She’ll be sharing simple, effective ways to support your immune health through the season. You can check out our Q&A with Mackenzie here.
We’ll also be sampling our brand-new Immunity Smoothie during the event—on the house. It’s blended with elderberry, pomegranate, ginger, turmeric, and other immune-boosting ingredients that taste as good as they are good for you. Around the store, you’ll find our team’s go-to immunity favorites like Manuka Health Propolis Immunity Elixir Shots, Cymbiotika Vitamin C, and Momentous Zinc—plus our reminder that sunshine (when possible), rest, and a regulated nervous system are always part of the equation.
We also wanted to share a behind-the-scenes peek at one of the brands that really impressed us during our latest round of staff training: BodyHealth. Their flagship product, PerfectAmino, has completely changed the way we think about protein and recovery. Our team had the chance to learn directly from BodyHealth’s experts, and it was an eye-opening experience that deepened our understanding of how amino acids support overall wellness. You can read more about that conversation here.
As we move into the holiday season, we’re feeling extra grateful—for this community, for our customers, and for the chance to continue growing alongside you. Stop by soon for a little holiday magic, some wellness inspiration, and maybe a head start on your shopping list.
There’s something about October that invites both focus and calm — which might be why matcha has been stealing the spotlight at our Wellness Bar lately. Whether drinking it as a latte, ordering our house-blended “Beauty Matcha” or sipping on an iced lavender-honey version of the drink, we’ve been delighting in the green goodness that is Matcha Tea.
If you’ve ever wondered why we chose Rishi Matcha for our brand of choice in the cafe, or what makes this vibrant green powder such a favorite among wellness lovers everywhere, we just shared a new blog post diving into it right here. It’s all about where our matcha comes from, why we trust Rishi’s sourcing, and what makes it such a clean, steady source of energy — no jitters, just clarity.
If you’re already as obsessed as we are, you’ll love our Instagram deep dive on what makes matcha so special, plus our highlight on Rishi itself.
This feature is part of a new series where we introduce the ingredients that make our café what it is — thoughtfully sourced, deeply researched, and chosen so that you can feel great about every sip or spoonful. From the mycotoxin-free coffee you love to the cleanest adaptogens and superfoods we can find, we’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how we can make healthy choices easier at the Wellness Bar. Speaking of which, if you’ve had the opportunity to check on the Wellness Bar we would love to hear your experience! Please leave us a Google Review here.
And because warm, nourishing comfort is calling… we’ll be introducing bone broth to our Wellness Bar lineup soon. It’s the perfect way to refuel as the temperatures drop — stay tuned for that launch in the coming weeks.
Wellness Month at Haskill Creek
October is still Wellness Month in Whitefish, and there are a few ways to take advantage before the month wraps up:
- Two more Wednesdays of BOGO 50% off smoothies: Wednesday October 22, and October 29.
- Our Love Yoga partnership continues — show your class receipt (day-of) and get 30% off any Wellness Bar item
- And there are still a few spots open in the Delia Pilates x BusyBee IV class, that includes a smoothie from the Wellness Bar. Sign up here.
Around the Store
Carrie’s back this week combining her love of interior design with the brand stories we carry in-store — this time, she’s channeled the effortless modern vibe of Facile Skincare into a dreamy living room concept. Check it out by clicking here.

And on a more personal note — our last Haskill Creek Book Club meeting was so great! We spent the evening out at Carrie’s farm, picking dahlias and soaking up that late-fall light. It was such a lovely reminder of why we love creating spaces to connect beyond the store. If you’d like to join us next time (we meet quarterly!), you can sign up to stay in the loop here.

There’s something about the way fall settles in here — the mornings turning crisp, the light shifting, the first frost dusting the fields (rumor has it it’ll be this weekend…!)— that makes a warm cup of coffee feel like an act of grounding. At the Haskill Creek Wellness Bar, those first sips of the day come from Lifeboost Coffee, a brand we chose with intention, and tested to make sure our coffee really delivered on quality and taste. It does–which is probably why we’ve been spotted ordering an Americano after school drop off every single morning since the Wellness Bar opened up.
Grown high in the Nicaraguan mountains under the shade of native trees, Lifeboost’s beans are hand-washed in spring water and third-party tested for purity — no mold, no mycotoxins, no heavy metals. Just clean, organic, low-acid coffee that’s as gentle on your body as it is on the planet. It’s the kind of coffee that doesn’t just wake you up, it sets the tone for your day: steady, smooth, and full of good energy–say less. You’ll find it in every Americano, Latte, Drop Coffee and signature Mane & Maple Latte we make behind the bar. Read more about it here.
Lately, we’ve also been taking inspiration from another brand we love: West Bourne. Their mission is as refreshing as their ingredients — to build a better food system through regenerative agriculture. If you’ve been with us here at Haskill Creek for a while, you know that regenerative agriculture, saving farmland, and improving the food system is very important to us. When brands we carry have values that align with our own, everyone is happy!
Every bottle of their Avocado Oil, which we now carry in the shop, comes from climate-positive farms in Mexico, grown in harmony with the soil and the surrounding ecosystem. It’s the kind of ingredient that belongs on every counter this time of year — especially when you’re roasting or baking your way through the season.
We came across their Charred Pears, Salt-Baked Beets, Yogurt, and Seeded Honey recipe recently, and it feels like fall on a plate: earthy, sweet, and comforting, with the kind of depth that reminds you how connected food can make you feel. You can find the recipe on West Bourne’s site, and their gorgeous cookbook here in-store — a perfect pairing with their avocado oil if you’re stocking your kitchen for the colder months ahead.
This month we’re also back at it with another Haskill Essentials, our series where we highlight Flathead Valley locals and Haskill customers, and ask them what they’re currently loving at Haskill Creek, and what they can’t live without. This month we’re highlighting Scot, one of Haskill Creek’s cofounders (and Carrie’s husband) to tell us what he reaches for at the store, over and over again.
We’re also donating $1 per sale to the Humane Society this month. We’ve been loving these local non-profit partnerships and we’re excited to head into month 3 of highlighting a new, deserving cause.
In October, we’re working on finding small, intentional ways to feel good. Whether it’s the coffee we’re sipping, the ingredients we’re cooking with, or the rituals we’re returning to, it all adds up to the same thing: good energy, good ingredients, and a deep sense of re-balancing.
Our morning coffees are now hot rather than iced, the evenings come sooner, and suddenly everything feels like it’s moving at a slower, steadier pace. This shift into fall always brings with it a certain kind of reset. It’s the time of year when we start going to bed earlier, taking brisker walks in the morning, and finally letting go of the last bits of summer.
Maybe that means clearing out the garage and tossing the half-used water balloons into a bin labeled “summer,” unpacking the beach bags that have been living in the back of the car, or finally washing out the cooler that never quite made it back onto the shelf. If you’ve been clinging to summer weekends since school started, now is the moment to release them. Fall is here—officially. That doesn’t mean you can’t still sneak in a camping trip (arguably, fall camping is the best camping) or a last round of golf. But the seasonal reset is upon us, and leaning into it makes everything feel a little more balanced.
So, we’re working on putting together our fall bucket lists, which right now include a little bit of fun mixed in with a lot of cozy:
- Host an outdoor movie night with blankets and popcorn
- Make your own apple cider
- Try a new soup recipe (bonus points if it simmers all afternoon)
- Carve a pumpkin and roast the seeds
- Bake a pie from scratch (or not!)
- Reset your skincare routine for cooler temps
- Spend a whole afternoon reading
- Try a new herbal tea blend
- Incorporate bone broth into your meals
- Focus on boosting immunity naturally
- Go for daily walks in the fresh fall air
- Do a fun fall craft (we’ve got our eyes on this DIY Beaded Corn Craft or these DIY Fall Leaves Placemats)
What would you add?!
We’re also getting our creative juices flowing this week and having a little fun while doing it! Carrie, one of our co-founders and an interior designer, dreamed up a space inspired by the brand Dore, which you can see in our post “If Dore Was a Room”. It’s a French-inspired bathroom design that feels calm, intentional, and undeniably chic.
We’ve also been digging into the science of energy with our post “Creatine: More Than Muscles”. If you think creatine is only for athletes, think again. It’s a supplement with benefits that reach far beyond the gym, supporting everything from cellular energy to mental clarity—perfect fuel as we head into a busy season.
So here’s to fall: a season of cozy rituals, nourishing resets, and creative inspiration. May your mornings feel fresh, your routines feel grounded, and your evenings bring the kind of warmth that only autumn can deliver.
October in Whitefish is a time of transition—the morning air is crisp, the summer crowds have quieted, and the pace of life slows down just enough to let us catch our breath. It’s the perfect season to lean into self-care, reset routines, and make space for wellness before the rush of the holidays begins. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Explore Whitefish this October to celebrate Wellness Month in our community.
At Haskill Creek, wellness isn’t a once-a-year focus—it’s at the heart of everything we do. From thoughtfully curated supplements and skincare to our new Wellness Bar, we believe in making everyday choices that support your health, your energy, and your sense of balance. But this month, we’re making it even easier to build wellness into your daily rhythm with a few special collaborations and offers.
Midweek Reset: Smoothie Specials at the Wellness Bar

Flow and Nourish with Love Yoga
We’re teaming up with our friends at Love Yoga to create a full-circle wellness experience this October:

- Take a class at Love Yoga and show your receipt at Haskill Creek to receive 30% off one Wellness Bar item the same day.
- Bring your Haskill Creek Wellness Bar receipt (full priced items only) to Love Yoga to receive 20% off any class pack (or 30% off if you’re one of our Enthusiast or Guru loyalty members). Not sure what your loyalty status is for 2025? Just email us by clicking here, and we can let you know.
Movement and nourishment go hand in hand—this partnership makes it easy to prioritize both.
October 25 Pilates, Vitamins & Wellness Bar Smoothies
On Saturday, October 25, Delia Pilates and BusyBee IV are hosting a special pilates class, where you’ll also receive a Vitamin shot and a smoothie from the Wellness Bar. It’s the perfect trifecta: mindful movement, nutrient support, and functional recovery.
Why October?
Fall is a natural time for renewal. As the seasons shift, our bodies and minds crave grounding routines, nourishing foods, and restorative practices. Wellness Month in Whitefish is a reminder that true health is about more than the absence of illness—it’s about creating rhythms that help us thrive year-round.
At Haskill Creek, we’re honored to be part of this community-wide effort to inspire wellness from the inside out. Join us this October to reset, reconnect, and celebrate your health.
Stop by Haskill Creek this month, explore our Wellness Bar, and take advantage of our October specials. Together, let’s make wellness a way of life—this season and every season.
There’s a fresh buzz in the air at Haskill Creek, and it’s not just from the espresso. The highlight of the past two weeks has been the long-awaited soft opening of our Wellness Bar! Community is at the heart of everything we do, and this month we’re supporting the North Valley Music School in Whitefish. For every sale in September, $1 goes directly to their programs, helping make music accessible for kids of all ages. You can learn more about our partnership and the school’s mission here.
And because we love connecting outside the shop as well, we’re inviting you to join us for our next Haskill Creek Book Club. This month’s pick is Spectacular Things, a captivating read we can’t wait to discuss with you. Back-to-school season always seems to arrive in a rush. One week it’s summer evenings and slow mornings, the next it’s early alarms, packed lunches, sports practices, and carpool coordination. The transition can feel overwhelming, but with a little planning and some intentional routines, it’s possible to move into the season with a sense of calm instead of chaos.
At Haskill Creek, we’ve been thinking a lot about what helps keep families grounded during this busy shift. Sometimes it’s the smallest systems—like setting aside a Sunday reset or carving out a few quiet minutes for yourself—that make the biggest difference. Here are a few simple ideas that can help you stay organized and sane this fall:
- Spend an hour on Sunday resetting—wash uniforms, prep snacks, and check the family calendar.
- Use color-coded calendars so each family member has a clear, quick-glance schedule. We love the skylight digital calendar that helps keep everyone’s schedules in one, easy-to-read place.
- Set up a snack station for grab-and-go healthy options after school. Granola bars and beef jerkey are some of our favorite, easy options.
- Coordinate carpool swaps with other parents (how else could you do it?!)
- Create a drop zone at home for backpacks, shoes, and sports bags.
- Simplify mealtime by making easy, fan-favorites that everyone will eat and are easy on time: think… tacos!
- Wake up earlier than the kids to try to get yourself organized before school drop off chaos (Colette’s still working on this one…)
- Keep an “emergency” bag in the car with socks, snacks, and water.
- Celebrate the small wins—sometimes that’s just getting everyone out the door on time.
This season isn’t only about managing schedules—it’s also about fueling yourself well. That’s why we’re so excited to share that the Haskill Creek Wellness Bar will be opening on September 1. We’ll start with a soft open next week, offering smoothies, coffee, and clean coffee alternatives to give you the energy you need for those busy mornings. We’ll be open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM, and we’d love for you to stop by and see us.
If you’ve been indulgent over the summer with lots of meals out, an extra glass or two of rose, and generally burning the candles at both ends, you’re not alone. We’ve been there too and we’re looking forward to more balance as the days get shorter. We’re planning to do the Kroma 5-Day reset again this fall, if you’re interested, definitely come in the store and check it out/ask us questions. We’re also detoxing in other ways… chlorophyll water has been all over our instagram feeds, so we decided to take a look at the research, and see what the hype is all about. If you’re curious too, check out our blog post here.
And if you want even more inspiration throughout the week, our Instagram community is the place to be. We share daily ingredient deep-dives, behind-the-scenes glimpses of life at the boutique, seasonal living tips, and real-time updates on what’s new in-store. Come join us at @haskillcreek
and be part of the conversation.
Here’s to a grounded and joyful start to the school year—we’ll be right here with you, coffee (or smoothie) in hand.

August is here, and with it comes the bittersweet shift from carefree summer days to the rhythm of the school year. Whether you’re a parent juggling carpools, a teacher prepping lesson plans, or a student facing that first early morning alarm in months, we’re here to make the transition smoother—with wellness inspiration, a dash of science, and ways to give back to our community.
Lately, we’ve been sipping on something that’s getting a lot of buzz: hydrogen water. Infused with molecular hydrogen, this next-level hydration option claims benefits ranging from reduced inflammation to improved athletic recovery. But is it worth the hype? We broke down the science (and the skepticism) in our recent blog post, so you can decide if it’s a smart addition to your wellness routine or just “fancy water” in a pretty bottle.
We’re also proud to announce our August partnership with the Backpack Assistance Program, a vital local effort to ensure children in our area don’t go hungry when school’s out. Too many kids in our community face food insecurity, and this program helps bridge that gap with nutritious weekend meals. All month long, $1 of every purchase at Haskill Creek will go directly toward this cause—so you can stock up on your favorites and know you’re helping to make a difference.

Always fun, our Back-to-School Essentials roundup is here to help get organized and stay well before the school year starts. Parents will love on-the-go wellness staples like supplements that are easy to throw in your bag, and notepads that make meal planning second nature. A little preparation goes a long way in making the school year feel manageable—and even exciting.
This time of year can be stressful, which is why self-care deserves a spot on your back-to-school checklist. Try setting aside a few minutes each morning for mindful breathing or stretching before the day begins. Keep your hydration game strong (hydrogen water optional!), and swap your summer skincare for formulas that lock in hydration as cooler days approach. Even something as simple as a nightly magnesium soak can help you wind down and recharge for tomorrow’s challenges.
Bonus: Carve out a little time for self-care in the form of reading. It’s one of our favorite ways to take time for ourselves, which is why we started the Haskill Creek Book Club a year ago! We recently picked out our next “Late Summer” read. We’re starting on: Spectacular Things: Reese’s Book Club: A Novel. If you’d like to join us, please sign up using this link.
As we swap flip-flops for backpacks, let’s remember: wellness isn’t just about taking care of ourselves, but also about caring for our community. Whether you’re exploring a new health trend, stocking up on back-to-school must-haves, or joining us in supporting the Backpack Assistance Program, we’re here to help you feel good—inside and out.
It’s almost impossible to believe that the school year is right around the corner! If you’re like us, you’ve been trying to take advantage of all of wonderful activities that Northwest Montana has to offer while simultaneously working and juggling camps. Now that gears are shifting, it’s getting darker earlier, and team practices are on the horizon, it’s time to get back in the swing of the school year and not only get organized but also stay sane and healthy while doing it!
That’s where Haskill Creek comes in, we’ve got easy essentials to help you do all of that and more. Scroll down to see some of our favorites!

- People I’ve Loved Paper Meal Planner: Tired of succombing to takeout after busy days and nights? Get ahead of yourself by making a meal plan for the week, and at least semi-sticking to it. Bonus points for involving your kids, so you know you have buy-in.
- Wonderblush Le Baume Tinted Lip Balm: This sheer-ish tint leaves your lips moisturized and helps you look put together, even if you’re feeling nothing of that.
- Papier Notes and Ideas Book: We love this notebook because it’s divided into 4 sections, for lists, ideas and future things. Long gone are the stacks of random papers with notes about work, groceries and to-do’s for the kids.
- Cymbiotika Vitamin C: Nobody’s got time to be sick, am I right? This daily liposomal vitamin c helps you stay on track even when germs are running rampant.
- Higher Dose Red Light Mask: Spent too much time in the sun this summer? Help reverse the damage, and give yourself a little self-care moment, with 20 minutes (every other day) with a red light face mask on.
- Papier Dateless Planner: We love this planner because it has pages for daily & weekly lists, plus spots for groceries and notes–everything in one place!
- DirTea Lions Mane Mushroom Gummies: If you feel like your brain’s been on summer vacation, too, it might be time to incorporate some lions mane into your routine. I love these because they taste good and they’re super potent and third-party tested, so you know you’re getting what you’re paying for.
- WonderCalm Gummies: More gummies! Harness the power of adaptogens for when you’re feeling less-than cool under pressure.
- Noshinku Refillable Hand Sanitizer: Perfect for on the go, and eco-friendly because they’re refillable.
- Papier Pen set: A new set of writing utensils just makes everything feel more put together. Enough said.
- Rahua Dry Shampoo: If you’ve been setting your alarm for 9 AM instead of 7 AM this summer, this might be your new best friend once school starts. Clean ingredients but still works? Sign us up.
We’re riding the high of summer here at Haskill Creek—sunny days, lakeside hangs, and plenty of good vibes in the shop. Whether you’re still resetting after Under the Big Sky, or just trying to stay grounded in the heat, we’ve got new ways to help you feel refreshed and recharged.
We’ve put together a list of our top tips for staying cool this summer (without running the AC on full blast) here.
If you’ve been curious about shilajit, now’s the time to dive in. This wild, tar-like mineral resin has been used for centuries for stamina, mental clarity, and cellular vitality—and we broke it all down in our latest blog post: Mineral Magic: Shilajit’s Journey from Mountain Tar to Morning Ritual. We’re all about supporting brain health over here, and they say one of the best things you can do for your brain health is to learn new things–so get to reading!

Summer in Northwest Montana is truly the best—it feels like you’ve got an entire day ahead of you, starting at 5 pm. Between fun-filled evenings, days on the lake, and time spent in the great outdoors, there’s a ton to do, but it can also get HOT! Most of us are getting off work right as it hits the hottest part of the day, and while great for post-work lake excursions, that’s not always in the cards. Staying cool (without cranking the AC) can become its own form of self-care.
At Haskill Creek, we’re all about natural, sustainable solutions—from how you care for your skin to how you cool down your space. Below, we’re sharing our favorite eco-friendly, Montana-inspired, and Haskill-approved ways to chill out this summer—plus the products we’re stocking (and stashing in our fridges) to help.
Local Ways to Cool Down in Northwest Montana

- Float the Whitefish River
Beat the heat in the best way: grab your paddleboard (or a tube), a friend, and a sparkling water, and drift along the Whitefish River. Shade from Willow trees = bonus cooling. - Take a Dip
Nothing resets your system like a jump into cold Montana water. There’s no shortage of amazing lakes and reservoirs, all within easy walking or driving distance–Whitefish, Tally, Hungry Horse and Koocanusa are some of our personal favorites. - Go For a Shaded Hike
Hit shaded trails early (well, summer “early”) in the morning. We love heading to the Whitefish Trail, or hiking Big Mountain… both easy to get to and close to home. - Sip + Sit… Under an Umbrella or in a Shady Spot
Find a covered patio for a glass of rose, a chilled mocktail or an iced tea. You’ll find us on the deck at the Golf Course, the Tiki Bar, or outside at Grouse (a hidden gem) all summer long.
Eco-Friendly Ways to Keep Your Home Cool

- Close Curtains Early in the Day
Close all of your curtains (especially in rooms where the sun shines in brightly) by lunchtime. Your house will be 10 degrees cooler, and your 5 pm self will thank you. - Let the Cool In—Then Lock It Down
Open windows at night when it cools way down, then close them (and curtains) during the day to trap the chill. While challenging with kids, we also try to make sure to keep doors and garage doors closed as much as possible to keep the cool air in. - Houseplants That Hustle
Snake plants, ferns, and peace lilies don’t just look great—they naturally purify and slightly cool the air. - Power Your Devices Down
Electronics give off sneaky warmth. Shut them off when not in use–bonus points for shutting off your Wifi Router at night, all year long. - Switch Out Bedding
Trade out your winter bedding for breathable linen or organic cotton. A cool night’s sleep sets you up for an energized tomorrow.

Sun-kissed skin meets its match. This botanical balm calms redness and nourishes deeply. We keep ours chilled for extra cooling power. - Kate McLeod After-Sun Stone
A solid moisturizer that glides on like silk—perfect for reapplying on the go or at home. We have been obsessed with these Kate McLeod lotion stones for keeping our skin extra hydrated all summer (and winter) long. Seriously 10/10. - Nurish Cooling Lotion
Lightweight, aloe-infused, and made for hot days. Store it in your fridge for an extra-refreshing application. - Electrolyte Support (Like Thorne or Instant Hydration)
Rehydrate right. These clean electrolyte blends replenish minerals lost in sweat—without sugar or fillers. - Magic Molecule Hypochlorous Spray
A skin hero in the summer. Keep it in the fridge and mist liberally after sun exposure or a sweaty hike (or let’s be real… sweaty walk with your dog, walk to the mailbox… whatever) - Ice Roller or Cryo Tools
Stash one in the freezer and roll across cheeks, neck, and shoulders for instant refreshment and de-puffing magic. We love this one from Dore (found in-store at Haskill Creek). - Drink Herbal Iced Teas
Choose cooling herbs like mint, lemon balm, & hibiscus to name a few. Brew a few bags, chill overnight, and pour over ice for a cooling, functional sip. Bonus: herbs & adaptogens support hydration and calm. We have these iced tea tops that you just screw right onto a mason jar to make the job even easier, at the Haskill Creek store.
Staying cool doesn’t have to mean hiding inside with the AC on full blast. With a little creativity, some local know-how, and a few Haskill Creek essentials, you can turn summer’s hottest days into a celebration of refreshing rituals.
