We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday whether relaxing at home with family and/or friends, traveling, or enjoying the fresh snow in Whitefish! We had such a great time seeing so many of you at our holiday shopping event, thank you so much to everyone who came out to see us on the 22nd, we loved seeing all of your faces!

It feels like even though we’ve done our best to prepare for this holiday season, this year the season feels more compressed than ever. We’re heading into the season of celebration, but it also happens to be the darkest and driest season in Montana. While we’re out spreading holiday cheer, we’re also thinking about taking care of ourselves both mentally and physically as the seasons have officially changed.

There are certainly benefits to dry air (less mold & mildew, and fewer mosquitoes to name a few…) but it can be a huge bummer for your hair & skin. We’re talking about strategies to combat the dry air, like using a quality humidifier, and moisturizing from the inside out with mushrooms, and hyaluronic acid over on the blog.

We’re also re-surfacing our tips & tricks for combatting SAD (seasonal affective disorder) as it continues to get darker and darker. One of our favorite mood-boosters is turning on our happy lights first thing in the morning, while it’s still dark out, to get our circadian rhythm back on the right track. Read more about that here.
