Every year it seems like the seasons sneak up on us without fail–despite the warm weather we’ve been having, at Haskill we’ve been in the throes of Fall planning and buying, and decorating the store for the seasonal change. It’s always a fun endeavor to keep our eyes out for the next greatest thing. At Haskill, we’ve got a high standard for the quality of items we bring into the store, whether it’s curated home & lifestyle items for holiday entertaining, or supplements to get you through busy seasons in life (or hormonal changes, or trouble sleeping…the list goes on and on!), which makes curating products for the store (and for you!) a fun and exciting challenge, year after year.
We’re really excited about some of the new things we’ve brought in this fall, and we’ve highlighted some of our favorites here. In addition to those reset items (which we’re using ourselves right now and LOVING, by the way) we’re also excited about powering up with mushrooms from DirTEA this fall.
If you’ve been following us for any amount of time, you know that we love a good mushroom supplement. What started as a mild curiosity has grown into a mushroom frenzy, and we truly have a good mushroom supplement that can support whatever it may be that you’re looking for: whether you’re looking to support your immune system, gain clarity & focus, enhance your athletic performance, or increase collagen–-there’s something for you.
One brand we grew particularly interested in, researched, chatted with, and ultimately brought to the shelves at Haskill is DirTEA. If you spend any amount of time scrolling on Instagram and TikTok (if you don’t… congratulations!) you’ve probably seen the viral Castor Oil posts going around. We’ll admit, Robin, one of our OG employees at our Voerman Store, has been telling us about Castor Oil for years. When we opened up our downtown store we knew it was a gap that we had to fill, so we researched companies and found one that we really love, and the bonus is that they also make these great castor oil packs that save your clothes, bedding etc, from being ruined by the oil, and you don’t need to wrap yourself in cellophane or use anything like that to reap the benefits. Since we brought it into the store, it’s been flying off the shelves, and there’s clearly something to it!

Castor Oil is having a moment.

Gut health is all the rage.
As science continues to link various health complications to poor gut health, we are experiencing a renaissance of healthy gut solutions. Thank goodness.
