Haskill Lately: Getting Ready For the Holidays, Boosting Our Immunity, Learning About Amino Acids & More

The holidays are right around the corner, and things are buzzing at Haskill Creek. We’re decking the shelves, unpacking new arrivals, and getting ready for one of our favorite times of the year. If you’re hosting your own Thanksgiving, or looking for a hostess gift to bring, we’ve got fun new table linens from Goldie Home & Atelier Saucier, and fun hostess gifts from Flamingo Estate. Great for using yourself OR gifting. Speaking of gifts… our annual gift guide is well underway–keep an eye on your mailbox, and your inbox! This year’s edition is packed with ideas for everyone on your list: the party host, the sober curious, the fitness enthusiast, the beauty lover, the guy in your life, and plenty more.

We’re also gearing up for our Holiday Shopping Event on Thursday, November 21, from 5–9 PM, and it’s always one of the best nights of the season. Expect raffles, chair massages, special discounts throughout the store, free gift wrapping, food and drinks, and lots of festive cheer. It’s the perfect opportunity to check off your gift list before Thanksgiving so you can actually relax and enjoy the holidays once they arrive.

This month, we’re continuing our Season of Giving by supporting the North Valley Food Bank. Throughout November, we’ll be donating $1 from every sale to help this incredible local organization feed families in our community. Giving back to the place we call home is something that’s very important to us here at Haskill Creek, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helps make that possible just by shopping with us.

With shorter days and cooler weather, it’s also the time of year when we’re all thinking about how to keep our immune systems strong. We’re excited to welcome Mackenzie Vetter from Compass Chiropractic into the store next Thursday at 12:30 PM for a special wellness event focused on immunity. We’ll also be sampling our brand-new Immunity Smoothie during the event—on the house. It’s blended with elderberry, pomegranate, ginger, turmeric, and other immune-boosting ingredients that taste as good as they are good for you. Around the store, you’ll find our team’s go-to immunity favorites like Manuka Health Propolis Immunity Elixir Shots, Cymbiotika Vitamin C, and Momentous Zinc—plus our reminder that sunshine (when possible), rest, and a regulated nervous system are always part of the equation.

We also wanted to share a behind-the-scenes peek at one of the brands that really impressed us during our latest round of staff training: BodyHealth. Their flagship product, PerfectAmino, has completely changed the way we think about protein and recovery. Our team had the chance to learn directly from BodyHealth’s experts, and it was an eye-opening experience that deepened our understanding of how amino acids support overall wellness.
