How:
- Apply to clean, dry skin, avoiding sensitive areas and mucous membranes.
- For optimal absorption, generously apply to larger areas such as the torso, legs, and arms.
- Initial mild itching or stinging may occur, but should subside as the oil is absorbed.
- The oil is water-soluble and can be diluted with pure water for a lighter application. We suggest starting with a 1:1 ratio, but it can be further diluted if desired.
- Leave the oil on for 20 minutes before rinsing or wiping off, if preferred.
- No rinsing is necessary unless discomfort arises from natural salt residue on the skin.
Avoid using near mucus membranes such as the eyes and nose, which can cause some irritation.
Applying magnesium oil to broken skin or wounds can offer therapeutic benefits, but the high concentration of magnesium salts may initially cause discomfort. If using 1400 Below on broken skin or lesions such as psoriasis, eczema, or acne, it’s recommended to start with magnesium baths. This allows the skin time to heal and become less sensitive to the concentrated magnesium chloride in the oil.
