Haskill Lately: Under the Big Sky Essentials, 3 New Summer Sips + the Skincare Ingredient to Know

Under the Big Sky weekend is almost here, and Whitefish is already starting to feel the energy. The restaurants are filling up, boots are coming out of closets, and the whole town seems ready for a few long days of live music, sunshine, and summer fun.

Whether you are heading to the festival for the full weekend or simply enjoying the excitement around town, we have plenty of new reasons to stop by Haskill Creek.

At the Wellness Bar, we are celebrating with a few drinks made especially for summer in Montana. First up is the Coconut Cowboy, our limited-edition Under the Big Sky smoothie. A creamy tropical blend with antioxidant-rich butterfly pea, Greek yogurt, and Montana huckleberry to help keep you fueled through the festival weekend.

We have also added a Huckleberry Matcha to the menu. Huckleberry and matcha might not be the most obvious combination, but together they create something fruity, earthy, refreshing, and unmistakably local. It is an easy choice for anyone looking for a little afternoon lift… plus the homemade huckleberry cold foam… SO GOOD.

Another new addition is our Flora Code Peach Elderflower Lemonade, a collaboration that has been in the works for the past few months. It starts with housemade organic lemonade and organic peach purée, then gets a packet of Flora Code’s Peach Elderflower probiotic powder. Lightly floral, gently tart, and just peachy enough, it tastes familiar without feeling ordinary. It is available for a limited time at the Wellness Bar for $5. Grab your drink to go, or stay awhile in our new outdoor seating area. We now have tables and chairs just outside the Wellness Bar. It is the perfect spot for a sunny morning coffee, or an afternoon smoothie.

Of course, festival preparation involves more than deciding what to drink. Inside the shop, you can find the small but essential things that make a long outdoor weekend much more comfortable. We have sunscreen for faces and bodies, mosquito wipes, hydrating skincare, clean makeup, lip care, hair ties, clips, wellness essentials, and plenty of other items that are easy to forget until you are already standing in a field.
