Haskill Creek was born out of a common frustration… traditional drugstores stopped caring about their communities long ago.

Walk into any Walgreens or CVS today and you’ll find cigarettes by the register, soda stacked floor to ceiling, and a candy aisle longer than the vitamin section. These are companies whose stated mission is your health. And for decades, they quietly became some of the largest distributors of the opioid epidemic across the the country.

Whitefish is a town built on different values. An outdoor lifestyle, strong families, and a community that takes care of itself. It deserves a health and wellness store that reflects these values, not opposes them.

So in 2020, Haskill Creek was born: a community-first wellness boutique.

We started with one simple rule: never sell anything we wouldn’t put in our own bodies. That sounds easy. In practice it meant studying ingredient labels most retailers never bother to read. It meant stocking fewer options and standing behind every single one.

We went category by category, matching what traditional drugstores carry, but upgrading each product line to healthier, cleaner, more natural options. The result is a modern apothecary stocked with professional-grade supplements, clean skincare and body care, and natural remedies and adaptogens.

Then we took it a step further. Because food is core to health, we opened a wellness bar serving clean-label coffee, ceremonial-grade matcha, and protein-forward food made from local whole food ingredients you can actually pronounce.

But more than the products or the cafe, we wanted to rebuild something that used to exist in every town in America: a neighborhood health store where the people working treat you like a neighbor and actually know what they’re talking about. Where you can ask a question and get a real answer. Where the person behind the counter genuinely cares whether you walk out better than you walked in.

That’s what the old apothecary model was, and Haskill Creek is bringing it back.
